Residential Architecture

Southwest Contemporary

Duffy

Truly integrated with the desert, this Southwest Contemporary was designed around abundant rock outcroppings and canyon walls. Multiple rooflines with chamfered parapets and stacked stone columns continue the theme. Once inside, floor-to-ceiling window walls let in light, and together with natural-tone flagstone flooring, blur the interface between outside and inside. Complex curved soffits and ceiling recesses add character and provide visual separation for activity spaces within the expansive Great Room. Once outside, the Patio hugs the rock outcroppings. A Waterfall careens down the canyon wall and into the Pool that is set against the rocks.
