Perched within the rugged terrain of western Colorado, this striking residence blends angular architecture with its high-desert surroundings. A crisp palette of smooth stucco, charcoal-toned block, and natural wood siding emphasizes the home’s clean lines and low profile, while expansive walls of glass open the interiors to canyon views and dramatic skies.

The front entry unfolds through a layered desert garden, where boulders and native planting guide visitors toward the cantilevered steel canopy and sculptural front door. Inside, the open layout maximizes mountain vistas, with seamless transitions between the living, dining, and kitchen areas—all grounded by warm wood floors, modern lighting, and rich material contrast.

Outdoor living is prioritized with a deep covered terrace along the view side, offering generous space for dining, gathering, and relaxing beneath the horizon. Every detail is purposefully composed to honor the site’s elevation, light, and texture.
