Eclectic

Johnson

A diverse mix of materials and forms define this Eclectic home as a one-of-a-kind sculptural project. A massive, tapered slump-block wall draws the eye toward the Covered Entry where ceilings are lined with Saguaro ribs between exposed timber beams. Weathered corrugated steel panels and stacked stone wrap the rest of the residence offering multiple textures that flow past windows into the interior of the residence. High, pitched ceilings feature massive timber beams and tongue-and-groove throughout. Connected by a covered breezeway, a spacious entertainment room offers a space for lounging, a billiards table, and bar, all arranged around a central 4-sided stone-clad fireplace. An outdoor area features a Pool and Barbecue area, adjacent to a seating area facing a fireplace built into a low-slung, slump block masonry wall.
