Residential Architecture

Desert Modern

From a distance, this Desert Modern home provides a taste of Territorial. Shallow sloped metal roof sections with raised seams, stucco walls and stacked stone columns characterize the outside. Stacked stone columns are not just for external support, but continue inside to make unique architectural statements and blur the distinction between outside and inside. The architect designed, metal and glass Front Entry, set the expectations for a thoroughly modern interior. Deeply soffited ceilings help define each area of the Great Room, while floor-to-ceiling windows encourage the desert to be part of the living experience.
