Southwest Contemporary
Manion
Approaching the home, a high, curved, Santa Fe style wall with an integral stone arch provides for a dramatic entrance and a separation of the main house from the Casita at the right. Sweeping curves of the walls, floating roof lines, stacked natural stone columns and wall segments combine to create a feeling that is at once both traditional yet representative of Southwest contemporary architecture. Naturally occurring rocks and native plants bring the rugged desert right up to the house. The finishing touches of this custom home design is the expansive rear Patio covered in brown-toned slate, which showcases an infinity-edge pool and rock-ringed fire pit.
