Desert Modern

Muilenburg

Winding past ancient saguaros and natural rock formations, a nearly 600-foot private drive comes to rest at a spectacular Desert Modern projecting from the rocky foothills. Angled entry steps with integrated planters terrace up to the Entry, shaded by a massive custom-shaped steel overhang that extends into the Foyer. Full height window walls wrap the Great Room as it lifts away from the ground, offering extensive panoramas of the Sonoran Desert. The Master and Guest Wing split at the Dining Room, enclosing, showcasing, and preserving natural site boulders as the home works its way across the landscape. A Covered Rear Patio terraces down to a wide Pool, where an adjacent lofted lounge deck floats above the desert below. Two separate Roof Decks are perched above the home, viewing platforms to take in desert sunset hues set against a backdrop of the Catalina Mountains.
