Residential Architecture

Desert Modern

Simons II

Set along the edge of a lush golf course, this custom Grand Junction residence blends bold geometry with warm, grounded materials. Angular rooflines and deep overhangs define the architecture, while a mix of stone, wood, and steel creates visual texture and balance. The entry sequence is sculptural and layered, drawing visitors in through a sheltered path framed by vertical columns and open beams. Inside, expansive glass walls connect the living spaces to panoramic views and a thoughtfully landscaped rear yard. The elevated back patio is designed for entertaining, complete with multiple lounge areas and integrated planters. At the front, a curved drive leads to a three-car garage subtly tucked beneath the roofline, allowing the architecture—not the automobiles—to remain the focus. From every angle, this home is a study in contrast and connection—angular yet inviting, bold yet refined.
