Upland Addition

As part of a master plan to an existing Modern residence, this addition incorporates a sprawling Master Bedroom, Bath, and Closets as a retreat from more open rooms designed for entertaining. Entering to the Bedroom, curved window walls sit below a high tongue-and-groove ceiling, accented with curving lighted soffits to define the space below. Custom cabinetry combines the bed’s headboard and nightstands, opposite a space for seating to nestle a lounge area. The Master Bath features sweeping counters and vanities, lit naturally by tall window walls. The closets beyond are the ultimate escape – islands, vanities, and lounges are surrounded by custom glass inset cabinets, crowned by clerestory windows that filter soft light into the carefully detailed hideaway.
